Community Dinners Served Up at Lebanon Reformed Church
January Menu - Soups, Stews and Chill Lebanon –Lebanon Reformed Church is reaching
out to its neighbors by hosting Community Dinners beginning in January and alternating every other month. The
January fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, January 30th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall
of the Church. On the January menu will be a variety of soups, stews and chili for the families and friends
in the community bread, salad, desserts, drinks and coffee.
“As
the Heart of Christ in the Community, we want our neighbors to come and enjoy a relaxing meal and catch up with a neighbor
they haven’t seen in awhile,” says Pastor Ken Petty. “We’re hoping
that the residents see us as a warm and welcoming neighbor and the heart of Christ in the community,” he added.
Prices for adults are $10.00, Seniors $7.00 and children 12 and under $5.00, and Children 4 and under are free.
The next Community Dinner will be held on March 13th and will be serving a traditional St. Patrick’s
meal of corned beef and cabbage.
